Suzy Williams has worked thirty years as a registered nurse with a focus on critical care areas. In 2003, Ms. Williams expanded her nursing knowledge into the field of forensics, graduating from Kaplan College and later becoming a board certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner.
Presently working at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Volusia/Flagler as the SART Program director, Ms Williams has helped established seven SANE-SART facilities throughout the 7th Judicial Circuit. Ms. Williams has recently been added to the faculty of Medipro Seminars to educate others about forensic nursing.
Although providing trainings to her community is her passion, Suzy has also assisted others throughout Florida to establish SART programs. Ms Williams is the founder and current President of the Florida Chapter of the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN).
